The Senior Implementation Consultant - Federal Projects Role

The Senior Implementation Consultant position is a customer-facing role that provides advanced software consulting and training for federal government clients and contractors. You will deliver consulting engagements both onsite and via web conference, leading complex data integration projects. This role combines deep technical expertise with the ability to navigate federal procurement requirements and security protocols.

• Leading analysis, architecture, design, and development of large-scale data engineering solutions
• Documenting and presenting complex architectures to customer technical teams and federal stakeholders
• Managing billable professional services engagements including requirements gathering, data review, and product demonstrations
• Becoming a multi-Qlik product expert (QDI: Replicate, Compose, Enterprise Manager, Talend Cloud)
• Driving all aspects of successful implementations from requirements and design to delivery and knowledge transfer
• Providing technical support in the sales process and generating discovery meetings
• Providing product feedback to Qlik Product Management
• Working closely with all Qlik internal teams to ensure successful customer deployments
• Communicating effectively via in-person, phone, email, and virtual meetings with customers

Here's how you'll be making an impact:
• Prior experience with federal government contractors or federal agencies
• Active or recent DOD Security Clearance
• Understanding of SQL, Data Modeling and Data Warehousing
• Some experience with relational databases, data modeling, and enterprise applications (ERP, CRM)
• Ability to articulate ideas clearly with exceptional organizational, presentation, and communication skills
• Aptitude, interest, and self-motivation to continually learn new tools and techniques
• Friendly and professional demeanor with strong interpersonal skills
• Willing to learn and adapt to new features and functionality with evolving products

We're looking for a teammate with:
• Active DOD Security Clearance
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
• At least 5 years of customer-facing Professional Services experience
• At least 3 years designing and deploying large-scale database solutions
• Demonstrated success managing multiple, concurrent projects
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision or as part of a team
• Able to multitask and refocus based on changing priorities
• Able to communicate effectively and patiently with both external customers and internal teams
• Able to take ownership of projects and show initiative
• Responsive and dedicated to exceptional customer support
• Fluency in writing, speaking, and reading in English

Preferred
• Data warehouse and/or Data Lakes foundations, construction and deployment knowledge
• Experience with data replication and change data capture concepts
• Experience with Oracle, DB2 (iSeries or z/OS), MySQL, PostGres, or SQL Server
• Experience with Cloud database technologies such as Snowflake or Databricks
• Experience with Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud infrastructures
• Experience with programming/scripting languages such as Java, Python, Perl, Ruby, or Scala
• Comfortable working in Agile development environments

The location for this role is:

Office Location: The role is remote; however, a location near the Washington, DC area is preferred. Up to 25% travel time required to support federal clients.

Salary and Benefits: The anticipated base salary range for this role is $102,615.00 USD MIN - $138,750.00 USD MAX per year. This position is eligible for a commission within a range of $34,205.00- $46,250.00 USD, subject to meeting targets set forth in a sales compensation plan. Final compensation offered by Qlik will be based on factors such as the candidate's location, job-related skills, education, experience, and other business and organizational needs.
