Responsibilities:

We are seeking a visionary Senior Director, Global Medical Affairs - Reproductive Medicine (RM) to shape our global medical strategy across one of Ferring's most critical therapeutic areas.

This is a unique opportunity to drive global impact, advancing innovative therapies that support patients and families worldwide.

You will serve as a global medical and scientific lead, driving scientific excellence, ensuring cross-regional alignment, and strengthening Ferring's leadership in reproductive medicine.

You will play a leadership role in developing the global medical strategy for the RM portfolio, spanning pre-, peri-, and post-launch activities across key markets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and execute the Global Medical Affairs strategy across U.S., EU, and International Markets.
  • Support and oversee clinical trial activities as well as Life Cycle Management and Investigator Initiated Studies.
  • Lead global medical launch planning and execution in partnership with regional teams.
  • Serve as the medical lead across commercialization and lifecycle management activities.
  • Shape and oversee global evidence generation (Ph3b/4, RWE, investigator-sponsored research).
  • Drive publication strategy and scientific communications at a global level.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Commercial, Clinical Development, Regulatory, HEOR, and Market Access.
  • Build and engage global KOL networks, scientific societies, and advocacy groups.
  • Support pipeline strategy and medical due diligence for business development opportunities.
  • Oversee global congress strategy, advisory boards, and core scientific content.


Requirements:
  • MD/DO with 10+ years combined clinical and pharmaceutical/biotech experience.
  • Global or multi-regional Medical Affairs leadership experience.
  • Expertise in Reproductive Medicine (REI or maternal health strongly preferred).
  • Proven experience supporting global launches and lifecycle strategy.
  • Strong track record in evidence generation and scientific engagement.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional and senior stakeholders globally.
  • Exceptional communication skills with strong external presence.
  • Collaborative, strategic, and execution-oriented leadership style.

Our Compensation and Benefits

At Ferring, base salary is one part of our competitive total compensation and benefits package and is determined using a salary range. The base salary range for this role is $237,000 to $340,000, which is the reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount paid may differ based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, education and primary work location. Additional compensation for this role will be provided based on competitive annual incentive compensation targets in the form of an annual bonus - payouts are based on individual and company performance.

Benefits for this role include: comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, and vision) with a premium differential, inverse to base salary, to be paid by employees; a 401k plan and company match; short and long-term disability coverage; basic life insurance; wellness benefits; reimbursement for certain tuition expenses; sick time frontloaded yearly of 40 hours, or higher if state or local law requires; vacation time for full time employees to accrue between 112.5 and 150 hours yearly in the first four (4) years of employment, and additional accruals starting in the fifth (5th) year of employment; and 12 to 13 paid holidays per year. For roles that are not field-based, Ferring has a hybrid work policy that is four days in the office, with the option to work one day remotely.
