The RoleThe Senior Global Innovation Manager is accountable for defining and executing the long-term innovation strategy roadmap and develop and execute the pipeline for the relevant regions (NAM) & a designated Global Category.
Key ResponsibilitiesInnovation Strategy & Roadmap
- Define and lead long-term innovation strategy (NAM + Active Living category)
- Translate trends, science, and consumer needs into clear innovation priorities
Pipeline Development & Delivery
- Build and manage a high-impact product pipeline (NPD, claims, repositioning)
- Own end-to-end innovation process (insights 1 concept 1 business case 1 launch 1 review)
- Deliver strong, commercially viable business cases (P&L, forecasts)
Product Development Leadership
- Lead cross-functional teams (R&D, Regulatory, Supply, Marketing) to ensure on-time, on-quality product development & launches
- Oversee claims, clinicals, and product positioning
Market & Consumer Insight
- Develop deep understanding of consumers, competitors, and category trends
- Identify growth opportunities and unmet needs
- Use data and insights to shape strategy and pipeline decisions
Global-Regional Execution
- Translate global strategy into regionally relevant innovations
- Deliver innovation toolkits and handovers to markets
Portfolio & Performance Management
- Optimize product lifecycle and portfolio for region
- Track financial performance and pipeline impact
Leadership & Collaboration
- Lead and align cross-functional stakeholders globally
- Influence senior leaders and drive decision-making
Basic Requirements- Bachelor1s degree and 10+ years1 experience in marketing/innovation (CPG, VMS, or pharma)
- Proven cross-functional leadership and stakeholder collaboration
- Strong portfolio strategy development and execution delivery
- Excellent prioritization and multi-tasking skills
- Confident communicator with senior stakeholder influence
- Strong analytical capability (financials, consumer & market insights)
- Advanced communication and presentation skills
- Comfortable with global hours and travel requirements
- Willing to work minimum 3 days/week in Jersey City office
CompensationThe current range for this hybrid position (
3x/week in-office) based in
Jersey City, New Jersey is
$176,542 - $195,000/yr.
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
