Based in Nanaimo, you'll leverage national expertise and local insight to deliver critical geotechnical solutions while collaborating with government, First Nations partners, and resource sectors.
Your Impact- Lead and deliver geotechnical engineering projects from investigation through to design and construction support
- Prepare technical studies and reports with clear, actionable recommendations
- Collaborate across disciplines to support infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, dams, and buildings
- Share expertise across regions to strengthen technical excellence and innovation
- Manage geotechnical investigation programs, including subcontractor coordination and tendering support
- Evaluate complex geotechnical challenges such as settlement, slope stability, liquefaction, and frost effects
- Oversee field programs including drilling, in-situ testing, and construction monitoring
- Contribute to successful project delivery aligned with quality, schedule, and budget targets
The Skills That Set You Apart- Degree in Civil or Geological Engineering with a geotechnical focus
- Registered or eligible for registration as a P.Eng. with EGBC
- Minimum 10 years of relevant geotechnical engineering experience
- Strong proficiency with geotechnical software (e.g., GeoStudio, Rocscience)
- Proven experience managing investigation programs and multidisciplinary projects
- Demonstrated ability to interpret complex subsurface conditions and risks
- Strong understanding of field practices and construction methods
- Track record of delivering projects on time and within budget

$104,100 - $138,000MB & ON:
$95,000 - $130,800NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC:
