Description:INTRODUCTION and WHAT YOU WILL DO (Job Responsibilities)The Senior FP&A Analyst will be a key member of Vontier's corporate FP&A team. Will participate in the monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial cycles, providing analytics in aspects of the P&L and the budget. Will work closely with the corporate department leaders on drafting and implementing their budgets, drive cost and efficiency actions. In addition will assist in ad hoc reports and analytics for Vontier's Executive Board as well as various improvement projects.
The successful candidate will interact daily with the senior leadership of Vontier, on one hand gaining unique business insights and on the other, providing analytics and data-based advice and opinions.
This role is key in helping Vontier's management to take educated and well thought decisions on what really matters and achieve its targets.
WHAT YOU WILL DO- Work closely with the FP&A team on the development, preparation, and maintenance of finance models.
- Cost Analysis and reporting of operating costs and operating efficiencies.
- Assist in efficiency plans.
- Participate all the major financial processes such as budgeting, forecasting, monthly reviews.
- Assist in setting and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and objectives.
- Collaborate with the accounting and other finance departments during closing and process improvement actions.
- Support Vontier's management and Departmental leaders with data-driven analysis.
Qualifications:WHO YOU ARE (Qualifications)- 5+ years of hands-on relevant experience in a publicly traded, global organization.
- Strong analytical skills and a passion to deep dive into business metrics and processes.
- Good experience in financial analysis, applying good financial knowledge and strong business acumen.
- Experience driving simplification and cost reduction activities, as well as commercially focused activities impacting profit and growth is desirable.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
- Advanced excel skills are required.
- Experience in Access, SQL or other Database experience is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand a P&L and balance sheet.
- Bias for action and experimentation with strong follow-up and follow-through.
- Analytical - ability to understand complex data and present in a consumable fashion.
- Skilled at building relationships with partners, and stakeholders both internal and external across all levels of organization.
