Full Job Description
The Senior Financial Analyst provides financial support to Kraton's management teams by ensuring best-in-class financial processes and financial reporting is provided to key internal and external stakeholders; compliance with the required International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS); driving Kraton's ability to report reliable and accurate information about the business; and partnering with the commercial and operating teams to derive shareholder value.

Key Responsibilities
• Support in the preparation of budgets, operating plans, forecasts, and investment strategies for Transformation Office.
• Critically review and actively contribute to building the business plan, validating implementation outcome, supports calculations for actuals and forecast, reconciling results with the P&L
• Co-drives results with other stakeholders to achieve ambitious company set targets
• Provide timely, relevant and accurate reporting & analysis of the results of the company's performance against historical, budgeted, forecasted and strategic planning results to facilitate decision-making toward the achievement of the budget and strategic plan.
• Build and enhance reporting to provide meaningful insight into current and future performance
• Liaise directly with different Transformation Office stakeholders for financial insight on both current period analytics as well as point of view development for forecast builds.
• Manage delivery of key reporting metrics for Kraton Leadership Team.
• Perform ad hoc reports and other analyses and special projects as requested.

Required Skills

  • 5 to 10 years of experience in finance and accounting required.
  • Knowledge of accounting policies and practices.
  • Excellent problem solving skills, detailed oriented with focus on quality and accuracy.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office applications advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a challenging fast paced environment.
  • SAP experience (FI/COPA/BI) preferred.
  • Experience with BPC a plus.
  • Strong financial analysis experience and cost accounting experience is preferred.
  • Ability to work in a highly automated environment and pull data and translate it into meaningful business information.
  • Effective communication skills - written, verbal, interpersonal, and presentation with an emphasis in the English language.
  • Solid judgment and decision-making skills.
  • Experience working collaboratively within a matrix work environment and team structure across geographic boundaries.


Education, Certifications & Licenses

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in finance or accounting.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and/or MBA a plus.
  • Chemical industry or manufacturing experience required.
