As a Senior Financial Advisor, you will serve as a trusted partner to clients while contributing to the strategic growth of the firm. This role is designed for a seasoned advisor who values autonomy, leadership, and long-term relationship building.

You will manage and expand a book of business, provide comprehensive financial guidance, mentor junior advisors, and play a meaningful role in shaping the continued success of SFG. Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship Leadership: Serve as the primary advisor for clients, delivering comprehensive financial planning and investment guidance tailored to their goals and values.
Business Development: Drive organic growth through client referrals, community engagement, and strategic prospecting efforts.
Practice Management: Manage and grow an existing book of business while developing long-term client retention strategies.
Strategic Financial Planning: Design and implement holistic financial strategies across wealth management, retirement, estate considerations, risk management, and business planning.
Mentorship & Team Leadership: Support and mentor junior advisors, contributing to a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
Community Engagement: Represent SFG in the Houston community through networking, events, and professional involvement.
Market & Trend Insight: Stay current on economic trends, financial markets, regulatory updates, and planning strategies to provide informed, fiduciary-driven advice.

Skills & Experience
Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field
Experience: 5+ years of experience in financial advising, wealth management, or related field
Licensing: Active State Life & Health license and FINRA SIE, Series 7 & 66 (or equivalent) required
Certifications: CFP®, CFA, CIMA, or other advanced designation preferred
Book of Business: Demonstrated experience managing and growing client relationships (portable book a plus)
Leadership: Experience or interest in mentoring junior professionals or contributing to team development
Business Acumen: Strong understanding of asset allocation, portfolio construction, risk management, and financial planning principles
Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to simplify complex financial concepts

Technological Skills: Proficient in CRM systems, financial planning software, and Microsoft Office
