This position reports to:Service Team Leader
In this role, you'll help run what runs the world, by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact.
This is a Remote position, however; candidates should reside in Texas, Louisiana or Missouri.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as the primary on-site representative to the ABB end customer/user and other ABB field personnel.
- Preserve ABB's Safety Culture on every aspect and as first priority, in the field and always keeping an eye on co-workers.
- Occasionally have additional team leader administrative responsibilities to coordinate internal field service activities.
- Assist customer with spare parts ordering, issues resolution, and provisioning.
- Perform collateral duties as assigned to meet business needs as they relate to EHS, Quality, Integrity, etc.
- Perform duties in Power Delivery, Medium & Low Voltage Switchgear/MCCs, Protective Relays, Transformers, Control Systems, etc.
Qualifications- High School Diploma or GED, with a minimum of 9 years of experience in a support or field engineering position. Additional formal education may substitute for required experience on a year-for-year basis.
- Experience with various electrical controls (power delivery) and systems to include:
- Mid-Voltage Switchgear
- Low-Voltage Switchgear
- Motor Control Center
- Transformers Test & Maintenance
- Automatic Transfer Switches
- Wiring Diagrams: one-line electrical drawings
- Blueprints & Schematics
- Relay Testing & installation (preferred)
- Instruments; PLC's & DCS (preferred)
- Variable Frequency Drives (preferred)
- Ability and willingness to travel 60-80% of the time across TX, LA, MO, OK, AR, KS, AL, MS, and TN, with occasional travel to other U.S. locations.
- Candidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.

While base salary is determined by things such as the successful applicant's qualifications and experience, this position is expected to pay between $83,300 and $133,280 annually.
