Job Description:

  • Develop, test and validate Embedded software solution for Microchip 8-bit and 32-bit microcontrollers using C/C++
  • Define and driveearly Application Specific Software Product from concept through implementation readiness.
  • Embedsecure-by-design methodologies, ensuring alignment withCyber Resilience Act (CRA)and industry security standards.
  • Collaborate with corporate QA and Functional Safety (FuSa) experts to ensure compliance with ASPICE and functional safety standards, such as ASPICE-L3, ISO 26262 or equivalent quality assurance requirements.
  • Work cross-functionally withsilicon design, system architecture, firmware, and security teamsto ensure cohesive architectural decisions.
  • Support architectural trade-off analysis covering performance, power, safety, and security.
  • Participate in technical reviews, risk assessments, and test planning.
  • Contribute to documentation, specifications, and design guidelines.

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor27s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in embedded systems development, semiconductor or electronic product development, or a related field.
  • Hands-on programming experience in C/C++ and Python, with the ability to write production-quality or prototype-level code.
  • Strong experience in Microcontroller,Application Specific Software Product
  • Ability to work effectively incross-disciplinary, fast-paced environments.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence technical direction across teams.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master27s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or a related field.
  • Proven knowledge ofsecure-by-design concepts, threat modeling, and hardware security fundamentals
  • Hands-on experience or strong understanding ofFunctional Safety (FuSa)requirements and standards
