About the Role Essnova Solutions is seeking a Senior Electronic Security Engineer to serve as the technical authority for electronic security systems planning, design, integration, testing, commissioning, and sustainment. This individual will lead engineering activities for Access Control Systems (ACS), Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), Video Surveillance Systems (VSS), perimeter security systems, and integrated physical security architectures.
Primary Responsibilities
Lead electronic security systems design and engineering activities.
Develop engineering drawings, calculations, specifications, and design packages.
Evaluate existing security systems and develop modernization solutions.
Perform site surveys and technical assessments.
Lead the integration of access control, intrusion detection, video surveillance, intercom, visitor management, and alarm systems.
Review compliance with Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC), DoD, USACE, and industry standards.
Support testing, commissioning, acceptance, and turnover activities.
Provide technical leadership to engineering and installation teams.
Support root cause analysis and system troubleshooting.
Develop life cycle sustainment recommendations.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
U.S. citizenship.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
Minimum of 10 years of electronic security systems engineering experience.
Demonstrated experience with enterprise access control platforms, video systems, and intrusion detection systems.
