The
Sr. Network Engineer provides senior-level engineering support for mission-critical enterprise networks. This position is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, reliable, and scalable network solutions that support organizational objectives and ensure optimal performance and availability.
What you'll do:- Design, implement, and troubleshoot enterprise network solutions for federal government customers.
- Serve as a technical SME, support routing and switching technologies, resolve complex issues, contribute to Agile delivery, and provide innovative solutions that build customer trust and support mission success.
What you'll need to succeed:- An active Top Secret security clearance (with ability to obtain SCI access).
- 10+ years of experience in network engineering with hands-on responsibility for core enterprise routing and switching infrastructure.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field is preferred. Relevant experience may substitute for education requirements.
- Subject matter expertise in designing, implementing, and troubleshooting complex routing protocols, including BGP and OSPF.
- Experience with software-defined WAN architectures and implementations.
- Experience with Peplink products.
- Proven experience supporting enterprise switching environments, including VLANs, STP, and related Layer 2 technologies.
- Experience managing and maintaining high-availability, high-performance network backbones in mission-critical environments.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco ASR, ISR, Catalyst, and Nexus platforms.
- Explicit experience performing network traffic analysis.
- Ability to contribute immediately with minimal ramp-up in a mission-critical operational environment.
- Required technical certifications include CCNP Enterprise
