Role Overview:Seeking a Senior Application Developer with strong expertise in both .NET and Ruby on Rails. This role involves utilizing modern development tools and techniques, including Agile methodologies, BDD/TDD, and web services, to build and deploy robust software solutions. The ideal candidate will manage projects independently and contribute as a key team member on larger initiatives, with a focus on financial services.
Key Responsibilities:- Utilize the latest tools and techniques including Ruby/Rails, Rspec/Nunit, .Net, C, Agile Methodologies, and Web services.
- Apply BDD/TDD techniques throughout the development lifecycle.
- Prepare software for seamless deployment to production environments.
- Respond to and effectively resolve questions and issues logged by users of live streams.
- Manage small projects independently and collaborate as a team member on larger projects.
- Perform other related duties as required and assigned, demonstrating behaviors aligned with the organization's desired culture and values.
Required Skills:- Proficiency in .NET Core and Ruby on Rails.
- Experience with Microservices & APIs.
- Knowledge of Azure/AWS Cloud platforms.
- Expertise in SQL & Data Modeling, including relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and SQL Server.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices including CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Understanding of Security concepts such as OAuth2, IAM, and CIAM.
- Strong background in Agile methodologies and technical leadership.
- Proficient in Open source/LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) stack.
- Knowledge of design patterns, refactoring, and unit testing.
- Experience with Linux and Open source software.
Qualifications:- 8-10 years of experience.
Preferred Skills:- Financial services experience, especially related to Mortgages and mortgage-backed securities.
