Full Job Description
Location: Santa Clara, CA (4 days onsite)
Compensation: $270,000-$315,000
Role & Responsibilities
  • Scale and develop a talented solutions engineering team, fostering a culture of technical excellence, customer obsession, and continuous learning.
  • Mentor and coach team members to grow their technical and customer-facing skills, providing regular feedback and creating clear paths for career development.
  • Define and implement solutions engineering best practices, methodologies, and processes that drive consistency, scalability, and customer success across the team.
  • Own team performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with Enablement to develop and administer training programs to sharpen the technical knowledge, demo skills and sales acumen of the solutions engineering team.
  • Work closely with leadership across Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to align on strategy and ensure solutions engineering is positioned as a competitive differentiator.
  • Stay at the forefront of industry trends and emerging technologies in credit union digital banking, contact centers, communications platforms (CCaaS), unified communications (UCaaS) and agentic AI, sharing insights with cross-functional teams.
  • Identify operational inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement in the solutions engineering function, and drive initiatives to optimize processes and tools.
Required Experience & Qualifications
  • Minimum 10+ years of progressive experience as a Solutions Engineer / Sales Engineer, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership or management capacity.
  • Proven track record of leading and growing solutions engineering teams through significant growth phases.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to dive deep into complex technical challenges.
  • A knack for translating technical concepts and complex B2B SaaS solutions for diverse audiences in a sales setting
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop talent, coach team members, and create a high-performance culture.
  • Willingness to travel as required (estimated 20-30% quarterly).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with AI or conversational AI platforms and their application in customer-facing communications.
  • Knowledge of contact center solution offerings (CCaaS), unified communications platforms (UCaaS), and integration landscapes serving community financial institutions.
  • Experience in the credit union industry or broader financial services sector, with strong knowledge of credit union software, banking systems, and compliance requirements.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
  • Track record of contributing to company growth and customer success at a scaling B2B SaaS company.
