JOB SUMMARY

The Sr. Director of Marketing leads all marketing functions for both properties in New Hampshire (Rockingham Grand and Chaser's Poker Room). This includes overseeing the efficient and effective direction of all operations within the Marketing department.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee the hiring, training, development and supervision of Marketing department staff.
  • Plan and organize workloads and staff assignments as well as train, motivate and evaluate assigned staff.
  • Establish department standards, guidelines and objectives, and maintain other administrative processes such as budget and staffing to ensure proper planning and efficient operation of assigned areas.
  • Develop and implement the annual overall marketing plan, budgets, goals and strategies that are in line with the overall business goals and plans.
  • Collaborate with property leadership to provide and design effective brand management, such as logos and imagery.
  • Develop an annual content calendar for customer facing channels, such as websites, social media, and digital marketing platforms.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of all promotions and events including drawings, giveaways, parties, special events, outdoor events, tournaments, and more.
  • Maintain familiarity with market trends, marketing/promotion laws and statutes, and products as they pertain to the industry.
  • Coordinate with outside vendors in the execution of promotions and campaigns.
  • Interact and correspond with guests to maintain good customer relations and develop loyalty.
  • Analyze financial results of marketing programs and review all departmental financial activity to effectively manage expenses within budget.
  • Create or initiate records, reports and other administrative documentation in a timely manner, as required to meet expectations of the organization.
  • (and, of course) Perform other duties as assigned.


REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Demonstrated leadership and management abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to strategize and plan over a one-to-three-year period.
  • Thorough knowledge of market developments, strategies, and practices.
  • Strong public speaking/presentation and communication skills.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft applications and other necessary computer applications.


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Marketing, or related field.
  • Five to seven years of progressive marketing experience.
  • Experience in a gaming or hospitality setting preferred.
  • Must obtain and maintain valid gaming license.

  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
  • The employee may be exposed to smoke when on the floor of the gaming room.
