Senior DevOps Engineer II | Lead Engineer

What you'll do for us
• Design and implement deployment pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Gitlab, Ansible,
Puppet, or similar to automate building, testing, and deployment processes
• Manage and maintain the infrastructure for deployment pipelines, including servers,
databases, load balancers, and other resources
• Monitor the performance of applications deployed in production environments and
troubleshoot any issues that arise
• Ensure the security and compliance of the deployment process and applications,
including implementing security measures such as SSL certificates, firewalls, and
intrusion detection systems
• Collaborate with developers to understand requirements, ensure alignment with the
development process, and support successful deployment
• Continuously improve deployment processes through automation, identifying and
implementing opportunities for efficiency gains
• Provide support to customers and end-users as needed, including troubleshooting and
resolving issues related to deployed applications
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful and timely deployment of
software applications
• Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support for our platform
• Have the ability and flexibility to work with teams globally, across time zones
What you'll have
• 5+ years of experience in a deployment role Masters Degree in Computer Science, Software
Engineering, Information Technology, Industrial Engineering, Engineering Management OR 7+
years of experience in a deployment role with a Bachelor's degree.
• Certification in any of the following: AWS, Azure, GCP or K8
• Experience deploying and maintaining applications in any one of the clouds (AWS, Azure, or
GCP)
• Experience with cloud-based environments like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Experience with Dockers or similar and experience with Kubernetes or similar
• Strong technical skills in automation, continuous integration, and deployment practices
• Working knowledge with Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform, etc.
• Administration of databases (MS SQL, Mongo)
• Working knowledge with Linux and Windows operating systems

This position at o9 Solutions has an annual salary range of $135,834-$186,773. Additionally, you may be eligible to participate in our medical, retirement, and other company-sponsored benefits.**The above information reflects the expected base salary range, although the lower and upper bounds may vary based on location, skills, experience, certifications, licenses, or other relevant factors.
