Requisition ID: 265905

The Senior Delivery Lead, Developer Enablement & Portals is accountable for end-to-end delivery of the Internal Developer Portal program, ensuring consistent execution across multiple agile squads and driving tangible improvements to developer experience across the enterprise. This role coordinates complex, cross-functional delivery to consolidate portal capabilities, streamline developer workflows, and accelerate adoption of enablement features that improve productivity, onboarding, and operational consistency.

Reporting to the Director & Head, Developer Enablement, the Senior Delivery Lead partners closely with Cloud Engineering, enterprise architecture teams, and senior cloud leadership to translate strategic outcomes into an executable roadmap and predictable delivery cadence. The role provides strong program leadership across 2-4 squads, removes delivery impediments, aligns stakeholders on scope and priorities, and ensures vendor-provided delivery resources are effectively integrated and governed. Success is measured by reliable delivery, clear communication, and demonstrable improvements in how developers discover, onboard to, and use engineering platforms and services..

Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:

  • Lead delivery for the Internal Developer Portal portfolio across multiple agile squads (typically 2-4), ensuring clear priorities, predictable execution, and high-quality outcomes.
  • Own the integrated delivery plan, release roadmap, and dependency management across engineering teams, architecture stakeholders, and platform/tool owners.
  • Drive agile delivery practices (e.g., backlog refinement, sprint planning, iteration reviews, and continuous improvement), ensuring teams maintain focus on value delivery and operational readiness.
  • Facilitate alignment between product vision and execution by partnering with leadership to translate strategic goals into outcomes, epics, and actionable delivery increments.
  • Establish and maintain transparent program governance: delivery reporting, risk/issue management, decision logs, action tracking, and stakeholder communications.
  • Coordinate with Cloud Engineering and Architecture to ensure portal capabilities integrate effectively with core platform services and align to enterprise standards and patterns.
  • Orchestrate cross-team dependencies and change impacts (e.g., onboarding workflows, documentation, tooling integrations), reducing fragmentation and avoiding duplicated effort.
  • Support vendor-enabled delivery by planning, integrating, and coordinating vendor resources with internal teams; ensuring clear outcomes, timelines, quality expectations, and effective handoffs.
  • Partner with engineering leads to ensure delivery is operationally viable, including non-functional considerations such as reliability, observability, support readiness, and adoption enablement.
  • Drive adoption-focused delivery by collaborating with enablement and communications partners to ensure releases are consumable through guidance, runbooks, and developer-facing enablement materials.
  • Promote a strong delivery culture through coaching, facilitation, and continuous improvement-strengthening execution discipline without formal people-management responsibilities

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We'd love to work with you if you have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Extensive experience leading delivery for complex technology initiatives in large, matrixed organizations, including multi-team programs and cross-platform dependencies.
  • Demonstrated experience running agile delivery at scale (Scrum/Kanban or hybrid), including planning, execution governance, and continuous improvement.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence across engineering, architecture, and senior leadership audiences.
  • Experience delivering developer enablement platforms (e.g., internal portals, developer productivity tooling, service catalogs, documentation platforms) in an enterprise setting.
  • Exposure to cloud platform programs and engineering enablement, and comfort partnering with Cloud Engineering and enterprise architecture functions.
  • Experience coordinating vendor-supported delivery, including integration of external resources into internal agile teams and governance routines.
  • Agile delivery certifications (e.g., CSM, PSM, SAFe) and/or product delivery/portfolio management experience
