Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required, Electrical Engineering preferred.
• 5+ years in a Controls-related position; Master's and internships may count.
• Experience in process improvement, scrap reduction, and cost reduction in high-volume manufacturing.
• Knowledge of machine design and troubleshooting in electrical and mechanical fields.
• Familiarity with Six Sigma/Lean methodologies is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead medium to large-scale manufacturing projects with cross-functional partnerships.
• Ensure production processes yield high-quality output at optimal costs.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on operational efficiency and quality.
• Implement automation changes and support new equipment introductions to improve manufacturing.
• Conduct root cause analyses for manufacturing issues and lead troubleshooting efforts.
• Maintain a hands-on presence on the manufacturing floor to enhance performance and reliability.
• Lead Lean/Six Sigma initiatives and cost improvement projects, including 5S and Kaizen events.
