Objective:

The Senior Controls Engineer provides high-level technical expertise, lead engineering efforts on complex projects, and mentor junior staff while ensuring quality, safety, and client requirements are met.

Qualifications and Skills:
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, MS Project).
  • Exhibits an expert-level work ethic and strong reliability.
  • Advanced expertise in hardware panel design.
  • Advanced expertise in PLC programming.
  • Solid proficiency in general HMI programming.
  • Working knowledge of VFDs, servo systems, and drive controllers.
  • Advanced expertise in PPE requirements and overall safety awareness.

  • Effectively keeps internal teams aligned with project schedules.

Current Hours and Starting Time
  • Full Time,40 hours per week.
  • Overtime may be needed.
  • Currently Hybrid Work Environment- which includes some time in automotive plants.

Project Specific Knowledge: (Either Ford or GM Experience)

Ford NextGen/GVOSS
  • Expert in system hardware design
    • Connectivity
    • Custom Panel Design
  • Expert in logic design.
  • Expert in HMI design

GM G22
  • Expert in system hardware design

Legacy PLC5 (Any Experience in this field is a bonus)

Physical and Travel Requirements:
  • This position requires travel to job sites as needed.
  • The individual must be physical capable of:
    • Climbing a two-story ladder
    • Walking one mile within 20 minutes
    • Carrying a laptop while moving across job sites
    • Lifting up to 30lbs. without difficulty.
