Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Senior Consultant in Dallas, Texas.
Work You'll Do
Drive software development and implementation services to address manufacturing, financial, human resources, customer relationship management, supply chain, and other business needs, utilizing SAP products. Synthesize overall operations strategy by analyzing a wide variety of business solutions; select the most relevant SAP tools and techniques to meet specific requirements, including business case, pricing, or complex financial analysis and interpreting and reporting on outputs. Drive the design, configuration, test, and support of SAP business modules to develop technical objects, including module and reports. Perform assessments of existing information systems and identify gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities; estimate time and resources needed for the development work. Transform detailed requirements into a complete, detailed systems design document; support creation of interface specifications and call flows for the various components in the design.
• 50% Travel required nationally.
• Telecommuting permitted.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 2 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.
Position requires 2 years of related work experience in each of the following:
• Utilizing SAP Advanced Business Application Programming (ABAP) and Open Data Protocol (OData) to drive software development and implementation services of SAP S/4HANA, S/4 HANA Cloud, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), and SAP Business ByDesign;
• Driving various aspects of the full software development lifecycle for SAP implementation, which include requirements gathering, application configuration design, business process analysis, code deployments, enhancement validation, triage of defects and change requests, escalations and urgent issues, using SAP Solution Manager (SolMan), Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), Focus Build, and Jira;
• Building, configuring and monitoring interfaces to integrate SAP Sales and Distribution (SD), Materials Management (MM), Human Capital Management (HCM), Financial Supply Chain Management (FSCM), Project System (PS), Finance and Controlling (FICO), and Supply Chain Management (SCM) with 3rd party systems;
• Driving the creation of technical and functional specifications, including screen layouts, navigation flows, logic diagrams, data models, process models, and pseudo code, to be used for application development, utilizing SAP ABAP, Core Data Services (CDS), ABAP Managed Database Procedures (AMDP), and OData;
• Developing Technical Design Documents (TDD) from Functional Design Documents (FDD) for various Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Form objects utilizing SAP ABAP, CDS, AMDP and OData;
• Defining systems strategy and support procedures, developing systems requirements, designing, prototyping, testing, training, and implementing technology-enabled business solutions for clients, utilizing SAP ABAP, S/4 HANA, and Jira;
• Building and developing software integration production and developing software modules using SAP ABAP and Business Technology Platform (BTP); and
• Driving the design of SAP SD, MM, HCM, FSCM, PS, FICO, and SCM for integration and to work with offshore development teams to develop solutions.
