  • Conduct should-cost analysis and develop cost reduction strategies while ensuring supply continuity.
  • Manage risk with multi-sourcing strategies and business continuity planning.

  • Support Engineering during New Product Introduction (NPI) to identify and mitigate risks.

Full Job Description
This is a highly strategic role responsible for driving the technology, supply chain, and sourcing strategy for one of the most critical components enabling NVIDIA's next-generation AI systems. The ideal candidate will partner closely with engineering and suppliers to enable advanced PCB and laminate technologies, build a resilient upstream supply chain, and ensure NVIDIA's roadmap is supported by leading-edge manufacturing capabilities.

What you'll be doing:

The Senior Commodity Manager plays a key role in shaping NVIDIA's future platforms by aligning technology, supply chain, and commercial strategy.

Responsibilities include:
  • Partner with Engineering, Operations, and suppliers to drive adoption of next-generation PCB and laminate technologies, ensuring manufacturing readiness for future AI platforms.
  • Build executive relationships with key suppliers to align roadmaps, investments, and capacity expansion plans.
  • Lead supplier business reviews, strategic negotiations, and long-term agreements that improve cost, quality, capacity, and supply assurance.
  • Drive should-cost analysis, cost reduction strategies, and commercial negotiations while balancing technology, quality, and supply continuity.
  • Lead risk management initiatives, including multi-sourcing strategies, capacity planning, material risk mitigation, and business continuity planning.
  • Enable early supplier involvement to accelerate innovation and achieve aggressive Speed of Light (SOL) development schedules.
  • Partner with Engineering throughout New Product Introduction (NPI) to identify technology, capacity, and supply risks early and develop mitigation plans.


What we need to see:
  • BS in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or equivalent experience. MBA preferred.
  • 12+ years of experience in global commodity management, strategic sourcing, or supplier management with significant experience in PCB, laminate, or advanced electronics manufacturing.
  • Experience developing long-term supply chain strategies that enable technology roadmaps and support rapid business growth.
  • Strong analytical skills including should-cost modeling, cost breakdown analysis, supplier benchmarking, capacity analysis, and supply-demand planning.
  • Proven ability to influence engineering, operations, and executive leadership through data-driven decision making.
  • Outstanding supplier relationship management, negotiation, and executive communication skills.
  • Experience leveraging AI and advanced analytics to improve sourcing decisions, supply chain insights, and data quality.
  • High degree of ownership, initiative, and the ability to lead through ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 200,000 USD - 322,000 USD.
