Senior Analyst, Supply Chain Planner you are responsible for coordinating short-term production scheduling and supporting medium- to long-term production planning activities. The role requires the creative and effective use of resources, systems, and production capabilities to balance business priorities, ensure operational efficiency, and meet customer requirements.
Responsibilities: - Develop and manage detailed production schedules, coordinating product deliveries and the timely movement of raw materials and components to internal manufacturing operations and third-party manufacturers to ensure uninterrupted production.
- Lead the development and maintenance of the weekly Production and Shipping Schedule. Facilitate planning meetings, communicate priorities and risks, and drive accountability to ensure adherence to production and distribution commitments.
- Oversee the flow of information, documentation, and materials required to support active manufacturing, testing, and release activities. Monitor production progress from raw materials through finished goods and proactively address issues that may impact supply continuity, inventory levels, or customer service.
- Collaborate closely with Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, MSST, Finance, external suppliers, third-party manufacturers, and distribution partners to ensure timely communication of changes, constraints, and requirements that may affect production schedules or product availability.
- Build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships with Plant Operations, Global Planning, Supply Chain, and Distribution teams to align production plans with business priorities and customer demand.
- Maintain planning processes and standard operating procedures related to batch creation, lot assignment, material consumption, inventory transactions, and finished product shipments. Ensure accurate and compliant system execution for products manufactured at both FPG and third-party manufacturing sites.
- Manage planning and scheduling activities for third-party packaging operations, including all associated system transactions such as batch creation, material consumption, inventory movements, and finished goods shipments.
Requirements: - Bachelor's degree required; APICS certification preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or Materials Management.
- Pharmaceutical manufacturing experience preferred.
- Experience with SAP system required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and presentation skills.
- Experience in warehousing, picking, and packing operations.
- Materials Management and Master Data experience preferred.

Our Compensation and Benefits At Ferring, base salary is one part of our competitive total compensation and benefits package and is determined using a salary range. The base salary range for this role is $94,263 to $174,873, which is the reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount paid may differ based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, education and primary work location. Additional compensation for this role will be provided based on competitive annual incentive compensation targets in the form of an annual bonus - payouts are based on individual and company performance.
