Full Job Description
A career as a Senior Analyst in the NBF (National Bank Financial) Accounting and Regulatory Capital team at National Bank is to act as an expert in all matters related to regulatory capital. This job allows you to have a positive impact on the organization through your knowledge of the brokerage regulatory industry, as well as the Finance, Operations, and Financial Markets sectors.

Your job
  • Ensure the proper accounting of financing activities;
  • Calculate regulatory margins for financing activities;
  • Calculate regulatory margins for various brokerage activities;
  • Analyze the regulatory impact of any new activities;
  • Analyze the industry regulations related to brokerage activities;
  • Prepare various regulatory reports;
  • Participate in external and regulatory audits.

Your team

Within the Finance sector, you are part of a team of 16 colleagues, and you'll report to the Senior Manager, Regulatory Capital. Our team stands out for its expertise, collaboration and team spirit.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree, in a related field (Accounting or Finance) and 5 to 6 years of experience
  • Must possess the CPA title, considered an asset
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Knowledge of brokerage activities and capital markets
  • Analytical mindset, agile, and proactive


Languages:

English, French

Reason to require this language: you will need to work closely with our colleagues outside Quebec.
