  • Prepare and post journal entries, including various accruals and reclassifications.
  • Perform balance sheet account reconciliations and investigate variances.
  • Assist with audit preparation and maintain accounting policies and internal controls.
  • Collaborate with multiple teams to support reporting and operational needs.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives and system enhancements.

Full Job Description
You will...

- Manage the full accounts payable cycle - invoice review, coding, approvals, and payment processing to ensure all payments are made on time; own vendor communications and resolve billing or payment issues. Assist with accounts receivable.

- Manage the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, including the close calendar and task tracking.

- Support and maintain the monthly consolidation schedules.

- Prepare analytics and supporting schedules for the month-end close review.

- Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, prepaid expenses, and reclassifications.

- Perform balance sheet account reconciliations and investigate variances.

- Assist with audit preparation, including supporting schedules and documentation.

- Help maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.

- Collaborate with FP&A, HR, purchasing and other teams to support reporting and operational needs.

- Participate in process improvement initiatives and system enhancements.

Qualifications:

- Strong understanding of US GAAP fundamentals.

The US yearly salary range for this role is: $125,400 - $153,000 USD and the Canada salary range for this role is: $88,000 - $108,000 CAD in addition to competitive perks & benefits. Waabi US Inc. and Waabi Canada Inc.'s yearly salary ranges are determined based on several factors in accordance with the Company's compensation practices. The salary base range is reflective of the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US and Canada locations. Note: The Company provides additional compensation for employees in this role, including discretionary equity incentive awards and discretionary annual performance bonus.
