Senior Accountant - Private Client Services

As a Senior Accountant, you will be part of a collaborative team working alongside Tax Specialists, Managers, Executive Directors and Partners to provide Canadian and U.S. personal, estate, and trust tax services for high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients. You will interact with clients, KPMG member firms around the world, and local colleagues while gaining exposure to a variety of technical tax matters and project coordination responsibilities. What you will do • Work on client engagements • Prepare Canadian and US personal, estate, and trust tax returns with accuracy and completeness • Become part of the tax engagement team in servicing the tax planning and compliance needs of clients At times, business needs arise and employees are required and agree to work beyond their normal workday or work week to fulfill the accountabilities required for their job. What you bring to the role • At least two years' experience in preparing Canadian and US tax returns for individuals • Completion of a post-secondary undergraduate degree • Excellent interpersonal skills • Highly motivated individual with a desire for growth • Dedication and motivation to achieve high standards of client service and professionalism • Emphasis on quality and adds value to client offerings and services • Strong project management and organizational skills • Effectively manages conflicting demands and priorities • Able to instill enthusiasm in others to achieve desired results • Able to provide persuasive and self-assured responses to challenging questions • Detail-oriented KPMG BC Region Pay Range Information The expected annual base salary for this position is $66,000 to $99,000 and may be eligible for bonus awards. The determination of an applicant's base salary within this range is based on the individual's location, skills, & competencies, and unique qualifications.
