Senior Account Manager, Transportation & Infrastructure
Senior commercial ownership of client relationships in the Transportation & Infrastructure sector
Location: Toronto, ON
About the opportunity
PRI is seeking a Senior Account Manager to own and grow client relationships in our Transportation & Infrastructure sector, based in Toronto. This is a senior commercial role for an experienced relationship-builder who thrives on winning and growing work with public agencies, transportation authorities, and infrastructure owners, and who is ready to carry significant accounts with real autonomy.
As Senior Account Manager, you will own a portfolio of the sector's important client relationships, lead pursuits, and grow revenue across your accounts. You will be backed by strong technical practices in civil, structural, geotechnical, hydrotechnical, and related disciplines, so you can focus your energy on clients, relationships, and growth. This is a senior seat on the commercial team, a step below the Sector Vice President and a natural path toward it, with the opportunity to mentor Account Managers along the way.
PRI's Transportation & Infrastructure sector serves provincial and municipal transportation agencies, transportation authorities, public infrastructure owners, and the contractors and partners who deliver major infrastructure. The role is based in Toronto, and much of this work is won through structured public-sector procurement, where relationships, reputation, and pursuit discipline all matter.
How this role works at PRI
PRI operates through a matrix of commercial sectors and technical practices. Sector Vice Presidents own the commercial success of each sector, and Account Managers own and grow client portfolios within it. As a Senior Account Manager, you sit at the senior end of that commercial track: you own significant client relationships and pursuits with real autonomy, you help grow the sector, and you mentor Account Managers, while the technical Practice Leads own the quality and delivery of the work. This lets you focus on clients, relationships, and growth, backed by strong technical teams. The Senior Account Manager is a step below the Sector Vice President and a natural path toward it.

• Work closely with technical Practice Leads and project teams to scope, price, and deliver work to the firm's quality standards.
• Partner with the Sector VP on account strategy, sector planning, and major pursuits.
• Mentor and support Account Managers, sharing commercial craft and helping develop the next generation of client-facing talent.
• Coordinate with peer Account Managers and other sectors on cross-sector opportunities, referring and sharing relationships generously.
• Support the firm's Indigenous partnerships where relevant to your accounts, in coordination with the firm's Indigenous Partnerships function. Infrastructure work frequently involves First Nations as owners, partners, and stakeholders.
