Full Job Description
Schrödinger seeks a Senior Account Manager to join us in our mission to transform the discovery of therapeutics with our digital chemistry platform.

As a member of our Life Sciences Sales team, you'll oversee business growth in your assigned territory. You will manage the full sales process for new and existing accounts, by engaging with diverse stakeholders in R&D, IT, and senior leadership at biotech customers. You will also collaborate closely with cross-functional team members including Applications Scientists, Deployment Managers, Solution Architects, and Product Managers.
What you'll do:
  • Identify and close new software and services opportunities in your territory
  • Create and implement effective strategies to increase revenue in your territory and ensure the accomplishment of business objectives
  • Manage all engagements with assigned accounts, including coordination with cross-functional teams
  • Maintain accurate sales forecast reporting and client activity tracking in Salesforce
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders at your accounts
  • Provide client feedback and market insights to internal product managers and scientific support team members
What you should have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related scientific discipline
  • An understanding of the drug discovery process
  • At least five years of experience selling complex scientific software solutions, with a track record of exceeding targets

Estimated base salary range: $100,000 - $160,000. Actual compensation package is dependent on a number of factors, including, for example, experience, education, degrees held, market data, and business needs.
