Senior Account Executive- USDepartment: Sales
Employment Type: Full Time
Location: San Francisco
DescriptionOpportunity:We're looking for a hungry, self-directed Account Executive to grow our US territory. This is not a role for someone who wants pipeline handed to them and just needs to close it. You'll be manufacturing your own outcomes: prospecting, qualifying, building relationships, and closing, across the full range of deal sizes, from SMB through enterprise.
Key Responsibilities- Own the entire sales cycle end to end, from self-sourced prospecting through close and activation, across SMB, mid-market, and enterprise accounts in the US.
- Work closely with SDRs to plan territory coverage and pipeline strategy, using them as a force multiplier alongside your own self-sourced outbound efforts, not as a replacement for them.
- Build your territory from the ground up: identify target accounts, uncover opportunities, develop your own outbound motion, and create pipeline rather than waiting for leads to be handed to you.
- Run a consultative sales process-understand customer needs, advise on the right solution, and build relationships that extend beyond the initial deal.
- Navigate multiple stakeholders and complex buying processes, from individual decision-makers at SMBs to multi-threaded buying committees at enterprise accounts.
- Partner cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, and Customer Success to bring market feedback into the business and represent the needs of your territory.
- Actively shape and improve the sales process as the US territory grows, rather than simply executing an existing playbook.
Key Requirements- 3+ years of quota-carrying, full-cycle SaaS sales experience in the US market, with a demonstrated ability to generate your own pipeline through outbound prospecting.
- A proven track record of building a book of business, market, or territory from limited or no existing pipeline. This is the single most important qualifier for the role.
- Experience selling across SMB, mid-market, and enterprise accounts, with the ability to adapt your sales approach to different deal sizes and buying processes.
- Strong consultative selling skills, including discovery, problem identification, stakeholder management, and the ability to advise rather than simply pitch.
- Consistent track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment.
- Experience managing a US territory independently, including account prioritization, prospecting strategy, pipeline generation, forecasting, and deal execution.
- Fluent, hands-on user of AI tools in your sales workflow-including prospecting, account research, personalization, outreach, call preparation, and deal strategy. You actively use AI to improve your speed and effectiveness, rather than simply being familiar with the tools.
- Experience selling AI-enabled or AI-native products is a strong plus, with the ability to articulate AI value propositions to both technical and non-technical buyers.
