About the roleAs our
SEM Performance Lead, you'll take ownership of our search performance strategy across Australia and the United States, driving profitable customer acquisition while supporting customer retention through data-driven remarketing initiatives.
Reporting to the Performance Manager, you'll lead the strategy, execution, optimisation and reporting across Google Ads, Programmatic and Connected TV (CTV). You'll have the autonomy to shape our search marketing strategy, optimise performance at scale and identify new opportunities for growth, while partnering closely with our Creative, Brand and wider Marketing teams.
What you'll do- Own the end-to-end strategy, execution and optimisation of Google Ads, Programmatic and Connected TV (CTV) campaigns.
- Drive profitable customer acquisition while developing effective remarketing strategies to maximise customer lifetime value.
- Monitor and optimise campaign performance across key metrics including ROAS, MER, CAC, CPM, CTR, conversion rate and sessions.
- Manage paid search budgets across Australia and the United States, ensuring efficient spend and maximum commercial return.
- Ensure all customer-facing campaigns align with brand guidelines, regional strategies and go-to-market campaigns.
- Partner with Creative and Brand Marketing teams to develop high-performing campaign messaging and creative assets.
- Build audience strategies and support audience segmentation across performance marketing channels.
- Deliver regular reporting, insights and optimisation recommendations to key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with platform representatives and technology partners to unlock new opportunities and improve campaign performance.
- Stay ahead of search marketing trends, platform innovations, automation and AI to continuously improve results.
What you'll bring- 3-5+ years' experience in SEM or performance marketing, ideally within fashion, beauty, retail or eCommerce.
- Proven success managing Google Ads and other paid search campaigns with a strong focus on profitable growth.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance data and translate insights into action.
- Experience across Google Ads, Google Analytics, Programmatic, CTV and related performance marketing platforms.
- Familiarity with tools such as Google Analytics, Rakuten, Mountain CTV, Klaviyo, Yotpo and product feed management.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive, curious mindset with a passion for testing, optimisation and continuous improvement.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
