Job DescriptionDescriptionWe are seeking a
Satellite Factory Government Liaisonto serve as a team member on a state-of-the-art space program that continuously operates in all phases of the system lifecycle. In this SETA role, you serve as an extension of the Government program office providing critical insight and communication with critical satellite factories.
Key Responsibilities In this highly collaborative and dynamic position, you will:
- Serve as the Government Program Office's on-site (factory) focal point for all development contractor's program management, contract, finance and schedule activities.
- Proactively engage with the satellite development contractor's programmatic leadership to capture insights into current and future performance.
- Be a partner to the development contractor to help escalate help-needed requests for the Government to work.
- Provide weekly status updates.
- Actively track all contract, finance, schedule and deliverable activities.
- Passively participate in development contractor's program review meetings to gain insight into progress.
- Participate in Developer-led Integrated Product Teams (IPT) and system milestones, offering recommendations to enhance system performance and accelerate delivery timelines.
- Partner with Developer program leadership to establish a trusted relationship of sharing data and win-win ideas that benefit the program.
Qualifications To excel in this role, you must possess:
- Intelligence Community and/or the Department of Defense Satellite Program Office experience as a COTR, PM, PEM, SETA PM or acquisition leader.
- Budgetary, financial and EVM experience.
- Ability to lead, and be the primary point of contact, for one or more projects
- Effective interpersonal skills (across multiple groups, offices, and organizations) and strong facilitation, briefing and writing skills
- Ability to communicate with a diverse audience of senior decision makers with varying levels of programmatic and technical expertise
- Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic, and team environment with no supervision
Desired Qualifications Additional qualifications that set you apart include:
- Intelligence Community and/or the Department of Defense Acquisition, PM, or COTR certification
- 6+ years of experienceas a satellite developer, supplier, or SETA working on DoD or IC satellite programs.
Target salary range: $160,001 - $200,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
