Position Description: You will help the organization structure financial and operational project tracking in the selected SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition solution. You will clarify project management needs, assess coverage within the available standard scope and design processes linking projects, finance and procurement. You will help project and finance leads maintain a reliable view of budgets, costs and commitments, first confirming the capabilities available in the Public Edition scope.
Your future duties and responsibilities: Facilitate workshops to understand project planning, cost tracking, budgets, commitments, milestones and project controls.
Design project structures and financial tracking flows based on confirmed Public Edition capabilities and approved scope.
Assess needs for work breakdown structures, cost tracking, project procurement, confirmations and settlement where applicable.
Validate end to end processes with FI CO, MM, procurement, production and time management as required by the selected model.
Document gaps, design options, data needs and test cases; recommend solutions aligned with the standard.
Support users through testing, training, data conversion and stabilization.
Define project, work package, milestone and accountability structures with the relevant project managers.
Clarify budgeting, cost collection and commitment tracking rules using functions confirmed for the selected solution.
Assess required links to procurement, time confirmations, production costs and financial postings where these flows are in scope.
Document coverage limits, design options and required decisions before recommending detailed configuration or process design.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role: What you bring
Experience with SAP project management and the design of project or cost tracking processes.
Strong understanding of project structures, budgets, actual and committed costs, project procurement and financial integration.
Experience with workshops, functional analysis, documentation, testing and user support.
Ability to confirm functional coverage in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition and recommend a solution suited to scope.
Professional communication skills in both French and English, with sound functional judgment and attention to detail.
Experience with project financial tracking, cost control or capital project management.
Ability to explain how project structure choices affect reporting, controls and finance processes.
Assets
Experience with SAP Project System or project control processes in SAP S/4HANA.
Experience with capital projects, manufacturing projects or service projects.
Knowledge of project cost estimation and financial reconciliation where those processes are in scope.
Experience with S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition or assessing alternatives against available scope.
Travel
Occasional travel to locations across Quebec is required, based on workshop needs, on site activities and the project schedule.

CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $70,000-$110,000. This role is an existing vacancy.
Bilingualism (French and English) is required for this position due to the nature of the role requiring interaction with national and global clients.
