Primary Purpose:
The SAP Project Manager leads the planning, execution, and delivery of complex SAP projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and successful achievement of project outcomes. This role coordinates cross-functional teams, manages project scope, schedule, budget, risks, and dependencies, and drives collaboration across business, technology, and vendor partners to deliver solutions on time, within budget, and in accordance with organizational standards.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead large-scale SAP projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and successful delivery of project outcomes.
- Drive execution and accountability in a fast-paced, enterprise-wide transformation environment.
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Coordinate cross-functional business, technology, and vendor teams to execute project plans and achieve key milestones.
- Manage project governance, executive reporting, stakeholder communications, and status reviews.
- Track project progress, dependencies, risks, issues, and deliverables, implementing mitigation and corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with delivery processes, governance standards, and quality expectations.
- Evaluate project performance and identify opportunities to improve delivery effectiveness and outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of work experience.
- 8+ years of experience in project management, preferably within large enterprise organizations.
- Proven experience leading large-scale SAP projects.
- Demonstrated success managing complex, cross-functional business and technology initiatives.
- Experience managing project scope, schedule, budget, risks, dependencies, and vendor deliverables.
- Experience coordinating geographically distributed teams and multiple workstreams.
- Strong stakeholder management experience, including executive-level reporting and communications.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Retail, supply chain, merchandising, procurement, finance, or ERP transformation experience preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to lead large, complex enterprise technology implementation, preferably SAP S/4HANA transformation.
- SAP certification and/or certification in project management (e.g., PMP, SAFe, Agile).
Salary Range: $136,160 - $204,240.
Actual compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on their unique qualifications and experience, internal equity, and market conditions. Final compensation decisions will be made in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
