Full Job Description
You Are:

A motivated SAP development professional with a passion for building modern, clean-core solutions on S/4HANA and BTP. You enjoy solving technical challenges through ABAP Cloud, RAP, CDS, Fiori, and side-by-side extensibility, and you thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where you can keep learning - including SAP Business AI and Joule. You communicate effectively across technical levels and geographies.

The Work:
  • Design, build, test, and support SAP custom development and extensions using ABAP, ABAP Cloud, RAP, CDS, OData, and Fiori under Clean Core principles.
  • Build side-by-side extensions on BTP and in-app extensibility on S/4HANA.
  • Develop and consume OData services; support released-API adoption and clean-core compliance.
  • Use BTP tools and services (including Joule Studio) to support SAP Business AI-enabled features.
  • Collaborate with leads and client stakeholders; communicate effectively across technical levels and geographies.


Travel may be required for this role, from 0 to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.

Here's what you need:

  • Minimum of 3 years developing SAP applications using ABAP, with at least 3 years on S/4HANA ABAP (NetWeaver 7.4/7.5).
  • Minimum 2 years with SAP BTP tools and services, including Joule Studio (latest Application Development and Automation stack).
  • Minimum 2 years of data modeling using CDS views, AMDP, OData, or related custom development.
  • Minimum 1 year of SAP custom development using Fiori-first, Clean Core, and BTP side-by-side approaches, including RAP.
  • Prior experience in a Consulting/Advisory role.
  • Prior experience supporting the Resources/Energy Industry/clients
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years' work experience). If Associate's Degree, must have equivalent minimum 6-year work experience.


Bonus Points If:
  • You've earned an SAP certification in ABAP Cloud, BTP (Developer or Solution Architect), or SAP Business AI / Generative AI.
  • You are hands-on exposure to SAP Build (Build Apps, Build Process Automation, Build Work Zone) and CAP (Node.js / Java).
  • You have experience with DevOps for SAP - Git-based transport / gCTS, CI/CD, and automated testing (e.g., ABAP Unit, ADT).
  • You have familiarity with SAP Business AI - Joule, Joule Studio, and Generative AI Hub grounding / RAG patterns.
  • You have have: Functional understanding of Products industry processes (Consumer Goods & Services, Retail, Life Sciences, Industrial, Automotive, Travel & Transportation).
