About the RoleThe Sales and Marketing Manager is a strategic, internally-focused leader dedicated to driving operational excellence, team performance, and professional development across the Sales and Marketing Team. This role ensures consultative sales success and cohesive brand positioning while maintaining industry alignment through limited, high-impact client interactions.
ResponsibilitiesDuties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Internal Leadership & Management- Team Mentorship: Directly supervise and provide daily guidance to the Software Sales Specialist, Sales Administrator, Marketing Lead, and Marketing & Communications Specialist
- Operational Oversight: Review daily tickets and voicemails to ensure team responsiveness and resolution
- Performance Accountability: Monitor internal KPIs, including lead response times and conversion rates from demo to billing
- Internal Syncs: Conduct weekly one-on-ones with the sales and marketing staff to review pipelines, assign tasks, and refine messaging
- Reporting: Support the Software Sales Specialist in preparing monthly revenue and pipeline reports for executive leadership
- Communication and Documentation: Collaborate with Leads and Clients to ensure documentation is created and maintained in the CRM
- Brand Consistency: Partner with Human Resources and other Department Heads to ensure brand consistency and integrity with internal and external communications and events
Strategic & Limited Client Relations- Consultative Escalations: Step into client calls only as needed to resolve high-level escalations or provide expert support on complex leads
- Relationship Pulse: Conduct limited "touch-base" calls with key clients to discuss industry trends and future projections to inform internal strategy
- Marketing Approval: Review and approve the team's social media and client-facing communications to ensure brand integrity and technical accuracy
- Compliance Liaison: Represent the growth team in the Monthly Compliance Committee to assist in resolving client return rate issues
- Industry Presence: Attend select industry conferences and events to maintain brand awareness and identify partnership opportunities
- Billing Coordination: Coordinate with Billing on any changes needing to be communicated to Clients
Miscellaneous- Perform daily duties in line with Forth, LLC Information Security Policies and Procedures
- Ensure that information Confidentiality, Integrity and Privacy is always maintained with processing information assets
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)- Internal Efficiency: Team adherence to lead contact protocols (1-2 hour initial contact)
- Brand Consistency: 100% of outgoing client communications and social posts meet FORTH's brand voice and tone
- Pipeline Health: Consistent growth in enrollment numbers and CRM user accounts
- Team Retention: Successful execution of annual performance reviews and ongoing professional development plans

- Software Sales Specialist: Responsible for closing leads and platform demonstrations
- Sales Administrator: Handles lead intake, CRM logging, and administrative support
- Marketing Lead: Drives overall marketing strategy and visual brand identity
- Marketing & Communications Specialist: Executes multi-channel campaigns and owns client-facing email communications
Qualifications and Required Skills- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field or 8+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
- Experience in managing and mentoring cross-functional sales and marketing teams
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) for lead tracking and pipeline management
- Proven track record in monitoring KPIs, improving team efficiency, and driving revenue growth
- Strong communication skills with experience in brand messaging, social media strategy, and executive-level reporting
- Experience in conflict resolution and client-facing escalation management in a B2B or software environment
- Demonstrates creative spark and has a self-starter attitude
- Proven success in managing field marketing programs and relationships
- 2+ years' experience at a technology firm, preferred
Pay Range and Compensation- $115,000 to 140,000, depending on experience

This role requires two days per week in office with flexibility for an additional day as needed for events, etc.
