Eaton's division is currently seeking a Sales Account Manager. This position will sit on a hybrid schedule out of our Southfield, MI office.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $119000 - $175000 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

What you'll do:

Eaton's Mobility Group division is currently seeking a Sales Account Manager for the Power Connections New Spaces team. This role is based at our Southfield, MI facility and offers a hybrid working schedule.

Eaton's New Spaces team develops power connection solutions for emerging high-growth markets including AI data centers, electrification infrastructure, energy storage, and industrial power applications. This role offers a unique opportunity to grow Eaton's presence within emerging New Spaces markets through strategic customer engagement, channel development, and business growth initiatives. The Sales Account Manager will serve as a key member of a small, collaborative team, working closely with Product Strategy Management and Application Engineering to shape Eaton's commercial strategy within rapidly emerging markets.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute account growth strategies by identifying and converting new business opportunities with customers, OEMs, integrators, EPCs, engineering firms, and channel partners.
  • Build and maintain relationships with commercial, technical, and executive stakeholders to establish Eaton as a preferred strategic partner.
  • Manage commercial activities including quoting, pricing, contract negotiations, program changes, and customer agreements.
  • Develop pricing and business strategies in partnership with Product Strategy to deliver profitable growth.
  • Monitor market, customer, and competitive developments and translate insights into actionable growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Product Strategy and Engineering teams to communicate customer needs, influence product roadmaps, and support market expansion efforts.
  • Lead cross-functional efforts to secure new business opportunities and support successful commercialization within New Spaces markets.
  • Represent Eaton at customer meetings, industry events, and trade shows to strengthen relationships and expand market presence.


Qualifications:

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience in technical sales, business development, strategic account management, or commercial leadership roles.
  • Experience managing customer relationships and commercial activities for engineered products, components, or technical solutions.
  • Experience selling connectors, terminals, interconnect systems, cable assemblies, busbars, power distribution products, electrical components, or other engineered technical products within high-growth or technology-driven markets.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.
  • No relocation assistance is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within a 50-mile radius of Southfield, MI will be considered. Active-Duty Military are exempt from this geographical limitation.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or equivalent) or Business.
  • MBA or other relevant master's degree preferred.
  • Experience supporting customers in hyperscale data center, cloud infrastructure, AI infrastructure, or other rapidly evolving technology markets.
  • Experience developing new markets, strategic partnerships, or indirect sales channels.
