Full Job Description
This is a benefited, full-time 12 hour day/mid shift position with a starting time of 8:30am or 10:30am depending on business needs. The schedule is posted in advance. Call is required for this role. The location is at Scripps Mercy Hospital-San Diego.
This position includes an Incentive of $4K and a Relocation Incentive of $3K to eligible new hires.
Provides direct patient care within the scope of his/her practice. Patient care includes assessment, planning and implementing a plan of care and evaluating patients' progress towards expected outcomes. The RN takes primary responsibility for the patients' care as delivered by the Care Team under his/her supervision. Works collaboratively with other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.

Qualifications
Required:
One year of recent RN experience in the Operating Room
California Registered Nurse (RN) License
Registered Nursing Degree from an accredited school of nursing.
Current BLS certification (American Heart Association provider).
Proficiency in speaking, reading, and following instructions in English.
Ability to demonstrate positive behaviors in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in nursing
2 or more years OR experience
Trauma experience- Level 1
Previous OR Charge experience
EPIC system experience
PeriOp 101 course
Well rounded experience in all service lines
