Starting Compensation:

100,000 - 110,000.00 USD Per Year

Working Location:

Joshua Tree, CA

Working Hours/Shift:

Monday - Friday 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (including on-call)



What You Bring to SBHG (Qualifications):

Education & Licensure:

  • Master’s degree in social work, Psychology, or Marriage, Family and Child Counseling from an accredited college or university.  

Or  

  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing required.  
  • California Registered Intern Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Marriage, Family and Child Counselor (LMFT) preferred.  

Or

  • Valid California Nursing License (LVN, LPT, RN, NP) required 
  • Valid California Driver’s License.  
  • First Aid certification from persons qualified by agencies including but not limited to the American Red Cross.     

Experience:

  • Two (2) years direct service experience with the mentally ill, preferably adults.  
  • Two (2) years supervisory experience in a health care setting.  

Safety & Compliance:

  • Must have attained the age of 18 years of age 

How you will make a difference:

This position has primary responsibility for implementing, directing, and supervising Licensed Nurses and if applicable, Program Coordinator, Peer Support, Household Coaches and Resource Specialists who provide case management, counseling, and rehabilitation and activity groups.  Supports Clinical Director, as needed.  The Program Director shall be on the premises with the number of hours necessary to manage and administer the program component of the facility in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.  The Program Director shall continue operations and carry out Administrator responsibilities during any absence of the Administrator.

Program: The Crisis Residential Treatment (CRT) is a short-term voluntary residential facility.

Population Served: Designed to help adult residents, ages 18-59, who experience a psychiatric crisis to safely stabilize, recover, and transition back to community.

Facility & Setting: Short-term voluntary residential facility, 24/7 Program

Clinical Services: Therapeutic and mental health services, Medication evaluation and support services, Crisis intervention

Length of Stay: Short-term

Skills & Transition: Pre-vocational or vocational counseling, transition back to community

Skills & Services: Rehabilitation/recovery services, including substance use rehabilitation services, Daily exercise and health/wellness education
