Registered Nurse (RN) to join our nursing team on the

As a Registered Nurse, you will play a key leadership role in providing clinical oversight, coordinating resident care, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety throughout the facility.
Position SummaryThe Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for overseeing resident care, supervising nursing staff, administering medications and treatments, coordinating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The RN serves as a clinical leader while promoting positive resident outcomes and exceptional customer service.
Essential ResponsibilitiesClinical Care- Assess, monitor, and evaluate resident conditions.
- Administer medications, treatments, and skilled nursing procedures in accordance with physician orders.
- Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans.
- Respond appropriately to changes in resident status and medical emergencies.
- Ensure residents receive high-quality, compassionate care at all times.
Leadership & Supervision- Supervise and support LVNs and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).
- Assign and monitor nursing staff responsibilities throughout the shift.
- Provide clinical guidance and support to team members.
- Promote teamwork, accountability, and a positive work environment.
Documentation & Compliance- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant nursing documentation.
- Review and process physician orders.
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations.
- Support infection prevention, quality assurance, and risk management initiatives.
Interdisciplinary Collaboration- Communicate effectively with physicians, families, therapists, and healthcare team members.
- Participate in care conferences and discharge planning discussions.
- Advocate for resident needs and promote positive clinical outcomes.
QualificationsRequired- Current, active California Registered Nurse (RN) License in good standing.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Strong assessment, clinical, and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced skilled nursing environment.
Preferred- Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) experience.
- Post-Acute Rehabilitation experience.
- Experience with PointClickCare (PCC) or electronic medical records.
- Charge Nurse or supervisory experience.
