RN Manager Med Surg Job Summary and QualificationsThe
RN Manager Med Surg is responsible for planning, organizing, staffing, and directing functions to ensure the effective operation of the unit. In cooperation with the leadership team, the Manager will be instrumental in developing plans, policies, and procedures to efficiently provide quality care. What qualifications you will need:- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State which you practice or must hold Compact/Multi-State RN License
- Associate's Degree in Nursing or if currently not completed a BSN program then must enrolled within 6 months of hire into position and completed within 2 years is required; BSN Degree preferred
- A current BLS and ACLS from American Heart Association (AHA or American Red Cross) are required
- 2+ years of nursing experience in an acute care setting required; 1+ years of supervisory/leadership experience
