Description Revenue Data & Analytics ManagerLocation: Irvine, CA
Reports to: Head of Revenue Operations
About the RoleRevenue Operations is a newly formed function at Xe as we scale our growth, owning how the business plans, measures, and drives performance: the planning process and revenue targets, the operating rhythm that holds teams accountable, and the metrics and analysis behind leadership decisions.
As Revenue Data & Analytics Manager, you'll own the analytical foundation for how Xe measures revenue performance: defining the metrics the business runs on, building the reporting layer executives rely on, and using data to shape GTM strategy, customer experience, and growth across the customer lifecycle. You'll have the opportunity to shape how this work gets done, from what gets measured to how the business understands its own performance.
It's a high-visibility seat combining strategic thinking and commercial judgment with technical depth. You'll partner across Marketing, Sales, Product, and BI, and work directly with senior leadership. We're looking for someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment, and who decides what should be measured, takes a position on what the numbers say, and follows through to what the business does about it.
What You'll Do- Define, document, and maintain the company's core performance metrics, including calculation logic and the treatment of edge cases, so that reporting and analytics across the business reconcile to a single source of truth
- Define scalable data models that support evolving reporting and analytics needs, partnering with the BI team on the underlying data infrastructure
- Own the executive dashboard and the revenue performance reporting layer used by the leadership team, and partner with cross-functional leaders to define functional dashboards
- Build recurring revenue analytics across the customer lifecycle, covering acquisition, activation, product adoption, engagement, and retention
- Diagnose revenue performance to surface risks and opportunities, and locate where in the business they sit
- Partner with functional leaders to translate findings into an execution plan and track execution
- Build the performance narrative that goes into monthly and quarterly leadership updates
- Structure and answer the business's hardest commercial questions, from framing the problem to analysis to recommendations
- Shape how AI and agentic tooling extend the function's reporting and analytical capacity as those capabilities mature
What You'll Bring- Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related quantitative field
- 5+ years in business analytics, business intelligence, or management consulting, with a track record of analysis that changed company decisions
- Strong proficiency in SQL and data modelling, and at least one BI or visualization tool (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker); experience with product analytics tools like Amplitude and CRM tools like HubSpot is a strong plus
- Business fluency. You think in terms of revenue, retention, and unit economics, and have strong knowledge of revenue metrics across the customer lifecycle
- Strategic thinker. You can translate a messy business question into the right analysis, and challenge the question when it isn't the right one
- Ability to influence. You can hold cross-functional partners accountable to act on what the analysis shows, and to stay with it through delivery
- Excellent written and verbal communication. You can frame analytical findings clearly and influence decision-making across cross-functional partners and senior leadership
- Instinct for when a number looks wrong, and the persistence to find out why
- Experience with AI tooling in analytical work and process automation, and a clear view of where it accelerates the job and where it can't be trusted
- Comfort with a fast-paced environment. You move quickly, make decisions with incomplete information, and know when precision matters and when it doesn't
