Your New Opportunity- Managing multiple municipal engineering construction projects and/or a single, large-scale project
- Reviewing design and bidding documents
- Engineering observation of construction progress to ensure compliance with plans/specifications
- Approving change orders, invoices and payment applications
- Communicating and coordinating with design engineers and municipal officials
Your Background and Credentials- Associate's or bachelor's degree in an engineering-related field preferred
- A minimum of 5+ years experience working in construction engineering and inspection experience including roadway and/or underground construction is required
- An active PE or EIT license in the state of Illinois is preferred
- IDOT certifications preferred
- Experience with Microsoft products, specifically Word and Excel, is required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and relationship building skills
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Excellent organizational, planning, and prioritization skills

The pay range for this position is $66,000 to $120,000 annually. Final compensation is dependent on multiple factors including years of experience, any applicable licensure and/or certifications, and internal pay structures.
