OverviewThe Requirements Analyst shall support Commander, Naval Inforamation Forces (Navifor) to translate business requirements into a functional development backlog and effectively act as the liaison between business stakeholders and technical development teams, ensuring alignment of work delivery to the overall product strategy and customer value.
Responsibilities
Required:
- Formulates and defines systems scope and objectives through research and fact-finding combined with an understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements. Extracts, analyzes, validates, and manages project requirements throughout the effort’s lifecycle.
- Decomposes complex problems, identifies dependencies, resolves conflicts, and prioritizes needs.
- Experience authoring requirements such as epics and user stories, while adhering to best practices
- Experience communicating business needs to technical teams, facilitating requirements sessions, and implementing mediation and conflict resolution techniques to drive stakeholders to common understanding and agreement
- Experience identifying and escalating potential requirements gaps to senior project and customer leadership
- Experience conducting product demonstrations to project stakeholders
- Experience working as an integrated part of a cross-functional team such as working directly with developers and SMEs
- Experience conducting testing and maintain quality assurance of products
- Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile, Scrum, or SAFe
- Ability to translate business requirements into a functional development backlog and effectively act as the liaison between business stakeholders and technical development teams, ensuring alignment of work delivery to the overall product strategy and customer value
- Ability to abstract, synthesize, and communicate complex requirements and adapt communication approach and style depending on the audience
- Experience using project management software such as Jira
Preferred
- Track record of bridging the gap between mission stakeholders and data science teams to document use cases, data dependencies, and acceptance criteria for AI-enabled system integrations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, or related disciplines
- Secret clearance
- Four years’ experience in a related field
Pay Range
$135000 - $145000
