Responsible for developing supply agreements for inventory or non-inventory materials and supplies. Responsible for ensuring the continuous supply and timely procurement of packaging, ingredients, MRO and other materials.
Manages the scheduling of inbound and outbound shipments to the facility. Works with the Operations team and corporate transportation to maximize facility's capabilities while still shipping / receiving on time.
Ensure consistent delivery of company messaging to both internal and external audiences through the utilization of multiple platforms including, but not limited to, company websites, intranet, press releases, collateral, and social media channels.
Assists Facility Environmental Coordinators with environmental compliance issues including wastewater permitting, air permitting and storm water permitting. Includes report preparation and permit applications.
The Branch Manager provides professional leadership in all aspects of Branch Management including but not limited to Market Development, Sales Execution, Operational Excellence and the Development and Training of Sales Representatives, Supervisors and General Workers.
Participates in plant management meetings as well as core product review meetings; assists plant management in preparation of quarterly review graphs and routine items; assists in preparing materials for meetings; assists plant management in operations improvement activities.
Responsible for the protection of company assets (meat, packaging, maintenance supplies, fixed assets, etc.); ensure inventory results and balances are reconciled and valued accurately per corporate policy; ensure compliance with SOX and annual internal auditing.
Acts as an expert on utilizing and leveraging syndicated databases to include customer-specific data warehouse information and loyalty card analysis (e.g., IRI, Fresh Facts, Panel, Customer Specific, etc).
