Position Summary

Ensure our products and services meet the highest possible level of reliability and customer expectations. Provide technical support for the service centers and field service. Lead the product failure analysis program

Job Functions/Duties
• Support/Promote quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the organization.
• Adhere to top ISO:9000 compliance objectives and ensure that targets are achieved; maintain awareness of the business context and company profitability, including budgetary control issues.
• Conduct Dismantle Inspection Failure Analysis (DIFA) of ESP and related equipment to determine root cause and assign liability for failure and prepare professional reporting of findings.
• Familiarity with metallurgy and chemical analysis as applicable to failure analysis of ESP equipment.
• Acquire and interpret data from remote access data communications monitoring and from surface equipment history files to facilitate analysis of failures and to promote reliability.
• Evaluate applications and well history data to promote efficient application of products and increase run life.
• Evaluate and revise as needed technical procedures and recommend revisions to Engineering Standards to improve Quality and Reliability.
• Organize data and prepare technical and management systems reports as needed.
• Monitor equipment operational performance by gathering relevant data and producing statistical reports.
• Identify and develop engineering solutions for repetitive failures.
• Develop acceptance tests and inspection criteria.
• Actively participate in and promote the EHS process and determine appropriate remedial action(s) when necessary.
• Monitor and participate in the ECN process.
• Work to solve & communicate any Quality related problems at the service center.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with clients, sales professionals, engineers, and service center.
• Personally observe safety and security procedures and proper use of equipment and material. Actively promote safety process and report any safety issues to proper channels for action.

Qualifications/Education Requirements
• Proficient computer skills with knowledge of MS Office and/or company specific databases.
• Knowledgeable with the Gagemaker System and designated support software.
• Must be able to work well with stringent deadlines and possess good organizational skills.
• Familiar with ISO: 9000 requirements including quality practices and procedures.
• Search and locate Drawings, BOMs, MPIs and other product related documents required to support Service Center Operations.
• Comfortable reading complex blueprints and customer related drawings.
• Extensive experience in the application, trouble-shooting, failure analysis, and assembly and disassembly of the ESP's.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a closely related field required.
• 8+ years of Reliability Engineering or Quality Assurance/Control experience required
• Annual CPR / AED and Electrical Safety Training

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements

Continuously required to move about the facility

Physical ability to immediately respond to emergency situations.

Work is mostly in non-climate controlled environment

Continuous travel and on call required

Continuous standing for long periods of time

Exposure to shop and field elements such as noise, dust, odors and temperature variations

Wear appropriate personal protective equipment, including eye and hearing protection, hard hat and safety shoes while in shop environment or on job site.

This is a safety sensitive position
