Full Job Description

The Relationship Manager will be responsible for driving revenue by the onboarding, retaining and reactivation of High-Value Clients (HVC). This will involve not only providing exceptional service to our existing clients but developing and growing a book of top tier clients through referrals and reactivation of dormant accounts. The role requires candidates to build strong relationships with clients as well identifying opportunities to grow new business. A large part of these sales activities will take place over telephone calls and via emails to prospective and existing clients.

We work in a hybrid model - we'd love to meet you in the Chicago office 2 days per week.

In this role, you will:

  • Grow a book of HVCs:Develop a pipeline of High-Value Clients from prospective leads and convert existing clients to HVCs status

  • Client retention:Identify and address client needs. Engage clients with the full suite of OANDA products while educating clients about the markets and leveraged trading.

  • Develop volume and AUM: Grow trading volume and assets under management for high-value clients and potential high-volume clients

  • Customer centric solutions for HVCs:Proactively engage in outbound client communications and manage inbound communications on product, regulatory and account related updates

  • Achievement of KPIs:Identify initiatives to assist in achieving business goals, meet or exceed all assigned key performance indicators (KPIs) as well as add value to the team success.

  • Coordination with accounts team: Work closely with the new account department to ensure a smooth on-boarding process for new HVCs.

  • Operational Compliance: Keep up to date with regulatory rules and training. Ensures all sales and service practices abide by outlined policies and code of conduct.

What skillset you need, to be successful in this role:

  • Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree, and at least 3-5 years of relevant sales experience in financial services and/or a highly regulated environment.

    • Proven industry experience.

    • Has or can obtain Series 3 & 34 licenses.

    • Proficiency in the use of MS Office, Google Suite, and experience in Salesforce would be an asset.

    • Passionate about Forex trading and enjoys discussing the financial markets.

    • Demonstrated desire and willingness to continue to upgrade skills and training with regards to financial markets.
