Job Title: Client Partner - Banking & Insurance (Financial Services)

Location: Chicago (onsite) OR Midwest based

(Applicants outside of Chicago will be considered but a Chicago-based candidate is preferred.)

We are seeking an experienced Client Partner to manage and grow strategic client accounts, with a strong preference for experience within Banking. This is a 100% client-facing role focused on strengthening executive relationships, expanding existing accounts, and identifying opportunities to deliver technology and digital services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own strategic client relationships and serve as a trusted partner to senior business, technology, and executive stakeholders.
  • Develop and execute account strategies focused on revenue growth, account expansion, cross-selling, and increasing wallet share within existing client relationships.
  • Understand client business and technology priorities and identify opportunities to position services across Cloud, Data & Analytics, AI/Automation, Digital Transformation, Application/Platform Modernization, and Managed Services.
  • Lead strategic client conversations around business challenges, technology priorities, transformation initiatives, and opportunities for expanding the partnership.
  • Partner with solutioning, presales, consulting, and delivery teams to develop solutions and proposals aligned with client needs.
  • Maintain executive oversight of ongoing engagements, proactively addressing client concerns and ensuring strong customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Work closely with delivery teams to ensure successful execution while identifying opportunities to expand existing engagements.


What We're Looking For

  • 10-15+ years of experience as a Client Partner, Strategic Account Management, Account Growth, or comparable client-facing role within the IT services or technology consulting industry.
  • Demonstrated experience managing and growing named client accounts within Financial Services, Banking or Insurance verticals.
  • Proven experience owning and growing client revenue. Experience managing an annual portfolio of approximately $5M-$10M or $3M-$5M+ is preferred; candidates who have successfully managed and grown portfolios in the $1M-$3M+ range will also be considered as well.
  • Strong understanding of the IT services ecosystem, with experience selling or expanding services such as Cloud, Data & Analytics, AI, Digital Transformation, Application Modernization, and Managed Services.
  • Proven ability to build trusted relationships with senior business and technology stakeholders and convert client needs into account growth opportunities.
  • Strong communication, executive presence, commercial acumen, and client engagement skills.
  • Experience with a Systems Integrator, global technology services organization, consulting firm, or Big Four organization is highly desirable.
  • Chicago-based candidates are highly preferred; candidates located elsewhere in the Midwest will also be considered.
