Job Description:
Overview of Unit/Department

The Orthopedic Care Unit is an acute care unit serving patients before and after surgical procedures. The nursing team supports patients through recovery, education, and preparation for a safe discharge home or transition to their next level of care. The unit works collaboratively with members of the interdisciplinary team to provide coordinated, patient-centered care throughout the surgical experience.
The Transitional Care Unit (TCU) provides long-term care in a smaller, relationship-focused environment. This unit offers the opportunity to support both quality resident care and the regulatory and compliance standards unique to the long-term care setting.
