Responsibilities
Assess and organize staff duties on assigned shifts.
Implement Veteran MDS and care plans per healthcare protocols.
Make rounds with physicians to discuss patient status.
Transcribe and implement physician's orders accurately.
Document nursing assessments and interventions in EMR.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Assist Veterans with daily living activities and during admissions/discharges.

Pay:
Day shift: $38.92 - $41.80/hour
Evening and night shift: $42.42 - $45.56/hour
Pay commensurate with experience
Responsibilities - What you'll do
Examples of Work:
Assess, organize, and plan staff duties on assigned shift on assigned unit
Implement Veteran MDS and care plan according to healthcare protocol
Make rounds with the physician, inform of status of patients and receive instructions for care and treatment
Transcribe and implement physician's orders accurately
Document accurately all nursing assessments, interventions, and evaluations in electronic medical record (EMR)
Give medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician accurately with follow-up observations
Assist Veteran with various needs such as transferring, positioning, transporting, feeding, promoting elimination, toileting, bathing and showering, etc.
Assist Veteran upon admission and/or discharge

Qualifications:
Licensure as a Registered Nurse - in good standing; or
A recent graduate of an accredited nursing program may practice as a graduate nurse until results of first licensure examination are received or until 90 days after graduation, whichever occurs first, as allowed by the Missouri Board of Nursing
