Regional Clinician - Skilled Nursing & Assisted Living (RN)
$155,000/year + Bonus Opportunity up to 20% | Full-Time

Regional Clinician (RN) to provide clinical leadership and operational support across multiple Skilled Nursing and Assisted Living communities. This executive-level clinical leadership role partners closely with Executive Directors, Administrators, Directors of Nursing, and Health & Wellness leaders to drive quality outcomes, regulatory compliance, survey readiness, and clinical excellence throughout the organization.

What You'll Do
  • Provide clinical leadership, coaching, and support to Directors of Nursing, Health & Wellness Directors, and other nursing leaders across multiple communities.
  • Lead Quality Assurance & Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives, clinical audits, root cause analyses, and quality improvement projects.
  • Support survey readiness by conducting mock surveys, preparing communities for state inspections, and assisting during survey activity.
  • Monitor key quality indicators including falls, infections, pressure injuries, hospital readmissions, medication management, and resident satisfaction.
  • Partner with community leadership to develop and implement action plans that improve clinical outcomes and operational performance.
  • Provide oversight and support for Electronic Health Record (EHR) utilization, documentation standards, workflow optimization, and staff training.
  • Mentor and develop nursing leadership through coaching, onboarding, education, and succession planning.
  • Collaborate with operations leadership on staffing strategies, risk management, infection prevention, and organizational initiatives.
  • Travel approximately 40-60% throughout the region to provide onsite leadership and clinical support.

Required Qualifications
  • Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • Minimum of five years of progressive nursing leadership experience
  • Experience in Skilled Nursing and Assisted Living
  • Strong knowledge of CMS regulations, state regulations, survey readiness, and long-term care operations
  • Experience leading quality improvement, regulatory compliance, and clinical operations
  • Excellent leadership, communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to analyze clinical data and implement process improvements
  • Ability to travel approximately 40-60%

Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field
  • Multi-state RN licensure or ability to obtain licensure
  • Multi-site clinical leadership experience
  • Experience implementing, optimizing, and training on Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems
