Yale New Haven Health Urgent Care is seeking a
Mobile Radiologic Technologist to support our growing centers in
Ridgefield and Brookfield, Connecticut. This unique opportunity allows you to work across multiple locations, collaborate with diverse clinical teams, and play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care throughout Fairfield County.
Your Role as a Mobile Radiologic TechnologistDiagnostic Imaging- Perform diagnostic X-rays ordered by providers to support timely and accurate patient diagnosis.
- Review images for quality and completeness.
- Follow all radiation safety standards and imaging protocols.
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot radiology equipment as appropriate.
Clinical Support- Assist providers during examinations, procedures, and treatments.
- Support patient flow and contribute to an efficient clinical environment.
- Ensure patient comfort by clearly explaining imaging procedures and answering questions.
Mobile Coverage- Provide imaging coverage across multiple designated urgent care locations.
- Travel between assigned centers as scheduled to support operational needs.
- Partner with providers and clinical teams using Microsoft Teams and other communication tools to ensure seamless coordination of care.
Patient Experience- Deliver professional, compassionate care during every patient interaction.
- Help create a welcoming environment that reflects the values and standards of Yale New Haven Health Urgent Care.
What We're Looking For- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
- Current ARRT certification required
- State licensure in Radiography required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with multiple clinical teams
- Dependable, adaptable, and highly organized
- Commitment to patient-centered care and clinical excellence
