JOB DESCRIPTION

Shape how we price our products and see your work translate directly into smarter growth and stronger performance. You will combine rigorous analytics with practical business judgment to turn complex results into executive-ready actions.  If you enjoy partnering across teams, designing experiments, and guiding decisions with evidence, this role offers broad visibility and impact. 

As a Vice President, Pricing Analytics in the Pricing team, you will provide pricing analysis and strategic recommendations that support volume growth and profitability through data-driven insights.  You will work closely with us in Finance Modeling to align on pricing assumptions and financial impacts, and you will design and execute pricing experiments to improve pricing effectiveness. You’ll thrive here if you bring strong statistical and experimentation skills, and you can translate technical findings into clear, actionable recommendations for senior leaders. 

Job responsibilities:

  • Develop pricing strategy: Support near-term and long-term pricing strategies informed by competitive dynamics, customer behavior, and business objectives.
  • Deliver pricing analytics & recommendations: Perform profitability/volume trade-off analysis and propose pricing actions grounded in data and sound statistical methods.
  • Partner with Finance Modeling: Act as a bridge between Pricing and Finance Modeling to align pricing assumptions, modeling inputs, and performance expectations.
  • Testing: Design and analyze pricing tests (e.g., random price testing, A/B or test/control designs), including hypothesis testing, bootstrapping, regression, and measurement frameworks.
  • Optimization & scenario analysis: Run optimization and “what-if” scenarios to recommend pricing actions that balance margin and growth targets.
  • Evolve pricing frameworks: Leverage historical test results and experimentation learnings to strengthen pricing methodologies and improve future decision-making.
  • Executive-ready communication: Create concise datasets, reporting, and presentations that synthesize insights into clear recommendations for senior management.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • 7+ years of experience in finance, analytics, pricing, or a related quantitative role
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics or related field
  • Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills; ability to diagnose drivers of profitability and performance
  • Working knowledge of analytical/statistical techniques (e.g., regression, hypothesis testing, sampling/bootstrapping, experimental analysis)
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate analytics into crisp, actionable business conclusions
  • Highly organized with attention to detail; able to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
  • Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with at least one analytics tool/language (e.g., SQL, SAS, Alteryx, or similar)

 

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:  

  • Master’s/MBA
  • Programming skills
  • Experience in the Auto Finance Industry
